Payment and letting

When you have selected the property you would like to rent, simply contact us. We will liaise with the landlord to arrange a viewing and to finalise the contract. (The letting agreements are approved by The R&A.)

What’s included?
The rent agreed will include electricity and gas or oil consumed during the period of occupancy. It also includes the telephone rental, local council tax and insurance of the property – however, you will be responsible for the cost of telephone calls.

How to pay
When you book, you must pay a combined reservation fee and security deposit, which is equivalent to 30% of the gross rent.

You must make the additional full gross rental payment of 100% to our offices, on or before 5 April 2010.

However, if you book a property after 5 April 2010, you will have to pay the combined reservation fee and security deposit as well as the rent in full when you make your booking.

Cancellations
If you cancel the letting agreement before 5 April 2010, you will forfeit the combined 30% reservation fee and security deposit. This will then be payable to the owner, less Pagan Osborne’s fees, subject to VAT.

If you cancel after 5 April 2010 and full payment has been received, then you will only have the reservation fee and security deposit returned. The rent is forfeited in full and will be paid to the property owner, less our fees.
