Payment and letting

When you have selected the property you would like to rent simply contact us if you would like to view the property before booking. If you simply wish to go ahead and book a property rental read on.

What’s included?

The rent agreed will include electricity and gas or oil consumed during the period of occupancy. It also includes the telephone rental, local council tax and insurance of the property – however, you will be responsible for the cost of telephone calls.

How to pay

1) When you book you must pay a refundable security deposit which is
the equivalent to 30% of the total rent

3) If you book after 5th April 2010, you will be required to pay the full refundable security deposit/ rental amount (130% of the rent) when you make your booking.  

Security deposit

This payment is held securely on an interest bearing account until after the property has been vacated and the inventory and condition of the property has been ascertained. The cost to repair any damage, replace any breakages or carry out any cleaning will be deducted from this amount and the balance returned including any interest accrued. If there is no damage, breakages and the property has been left in a clean condition, the payment held will be returned in full including any interest accrued.

Cancellations

If you cancel the letting agreement before 5 April 2010, you will forfeit the combined 30% reservation fee and security deposit. This will then be payable to the owner, less Pagan Osborne’s fees, subject to VAT.

If you cancel after 5 April 2010 and full payment has been received, then you will only have the reservation fee and security deposit returned. The rent is forfeited in full and will be paid to the property owner, less our fees
